One of the first presentations newly elected president David Wilkinson had to help with was the presentation of a cheque for £250 with which to purchase paints and materials which the scouts would be adding to in this joint project to support the Mityana School in Uganda.
President David said, "Rotary is delighted to be able to support our local scouters in their quest to help paint the newly refurbished classrooms in the local school at Mityana. Both Rotary and the 21st troop have been fund raising together for some time to make this possible and seeing how I’m dressed, I’m just glad we are not painting tonight!"
